Savvy & Safe: A Digital Safety Series

Scammers increasingly target English-speaking immigrants and seasonal residents living abroad. Life in Mexico also comes with its own specific risks: fake police, timeshare fraud, immigration scams, and cons designed for people who are far from home and navigating an unfamiliar system.

Savvy & Safe is a series of talks which gives you practical, plain-language tools to protect yourself online and in daily life. No technical background needed! Just bring your phone or tablet and your questions.

Over six sessions we’ll cover device and account security, phishing and fake websites, scams targeting residents in Mexico, social media privacy, AI-enabled fraud, and financial safety for cross-border living. Each session builds on the last, but are also useful as a stand alone presentation. You’ll leave each one with something concrete you can act on that same day.

Sessions are presented in English and free to members.

Non-members can attend any session for MX$20 (at the door) or all six sessions for MX$100 by registering below.
