DESCRIPTION:Join our adventurous group of sketchers for dedicated 2 hour sessions of drawing each week. Nicole will alternate between unique on-site sketching locations and structured lessons in drawing at HoLA Maz. \n  \nInstruction will cover the basics of understanding one-point and two-point perspective. We will draw tables\, chairs and room interiors; everything that we may encounter while drawing on-site. We can then take these skills\, crucial for urban sketchers when we venture out into the streets of Mazatlan to draw its architecture\, doors\, windows\, street corners and cafe settings. \nSuggested supplies include drawing materials such as a pencil & eraser\, black pen\, small sketchbook & watercolour kit. \nFor On-site sketching days you must sign up to receive pin locations via WhatsApp +52 6691299819. On-site days are free to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Ever wanted to try printmaking but thought it looked too complicated? This workshop is a fun and surprisingly easy introduction to the art of linocut printing. \nYou’ll learn how to carve a simple design into a soft linoleum block\, roll ink onto the surface\, and press it onto paper to create bold\, graphic prints. The process is a little bit like stamping\, a little bit like carving\, and very satisfying when your image appears for the first time. \nNo drawing experience is required. Simple shapes and patterns work beautifully in linocut\, and Nicole will guide you through each step from design to carving to printing. \nBy the end of the session\, you’ll have your own carved printing block and a set of handmade prints to take home. \nCome get a little inky\, try something new\, and discover how fun printmaking can be.
